Highlights – Monday Night Football :

Steelers and Saints Secure Divisional Victories

In the first of a triple-header on “Monday Night Football,” the New Orleans Saints maintained their undefeated record by defeating the Carolina Panthers, while the Pittsburgh Steelers fended off the Cleveland Browns. Tragically, star running back Nick Chubb was forced to leave the field due to a severe leg injury.

However, Chubb was not the sole casualty of the night. Minkah Fitzpatrick, the Steelers’ safety and a player involved in the Chubb incident, had to exit the game due to a chest injury. Additionally, veteran linebacker Shaq Thompson of the Panthers sustained a potentially serious injury. On the Saints’ side, running back Jamaal Williams also suffered a hamstring injury and was unable to return during their victorious match.

“Obviously, Nick’s got a very significant knee injury, which is, you feel for the person,” Stefanski said after the game. “He’s a great football player as we know, but he’s an even better person. So we will support him every step along the way.”

In an NFC South clash, the New Orleans Saints rained on Bryce Young’s home debut parade with the Carolina Panthers.

There was an AFC North showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns.

T.J. Watt made Steelers history by setting a franchise record for sacks and scoring the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Tony Jones Jr. scored two rushing touchdowns, and rookie Blake Grupe successfully kicked two field goals as the Saints defeated the Panthers, marking their first 2-0 start since 2013.

The Steelers extended their remarkable home winning streak against the Browns to 20 consecutive regular-season victories.
